A leading renewable energy developer, owner and operator is seeking an experienced lawyer to join its in-house legal team supporting a portfolio of wind, solar, energy storage and transmission assets across North America.


This is an opportunity to work at the heart of the business, advising on sophisticated financing and strategic transactions that enable the development and growth of large-scale renewable energy projects.


The Role

Working closely with finance, development, origination and commercial stakeholders, you will advise on a range of matters including:

  • Project financings and structured finance transactions
  • Tax equity investments and transfer structures
  • Back-leverage and corporate financings
  • Renewable energy project development matters
  • Acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures
  • Commercial agreements supporting major infrastructure projects


The Ideal Background

We are interested in speaking with lawyers who have approximately 4-12 years' PQE and a background in one or more of the following areas:

  • Project finance
  • Renewable energy transactions
  • Infrastructure and energy projects
  • Project development
  • Energy M&A or strategic transactions
