Toll Brothers Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers, seeks a Mortgage Business Development Manager to act as a liaison between the Mortgage and Home Building businesses with the goal of providing our outstanding mortgage solutions to every customer. This position will be based out of our divisional office in Novi, Michigan.

What is the opportunity?

Representing Toll Brothers Mortgage to the Toll Brothers organization and its home buyers, you will create primary relationships with Toll Brothers management, oversee all production in their territories, and work closely with our Loan Officers, Structure Specialists and Internal Sales Managers to create solutions. The position will also require some direct loan origination activity with home buyers.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Monitoring on-time performance for loan commitments and closings
  • Attending and participating in Toll sales events, grand openings, project reviews, meetings and other appropriate meetings as necessary
  • Indirectly overseeing the Loan Officer team
  • Pricing mortgage incentives for sales offices
  • Assisting home sales with troubleshooting customer mortgage-related issues
  • Ensuring timely and effective reporting
  • Communicating with customers, including face-to-face, as needed
  • Originating loan applications
  • Advising and training home sales on mortgage products, programs and trends
  • Developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with home sales staff
  • Collaborate with the division to develop financial programs and marketing tools
  • Fulfill all origination functions needed to achieve their goals
  • All other duties as assigned

    • NMLS and state licensing required
    • 7-10 years previous related experience
    • Weekend and evening hours and frequent travel may be required
    • Microsoft Suite experience and strong computer skills
  • Preferred
    • Bachelors Degree. In lieu of a degree, minimum 10 years mortgage sales experience
