Overview
This Formulation and Development Associate - Animal Health R&D will provide hands-on support for early and late phase formulation and process development.

Compensation:$23.00 - 25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, analyze, and evaluate experiments that meet R&D product developmentobjectivesusinghands-on,scale-down models of manufacturing processes

  • Ensure experiments are well designed and documented with clear objectives

  • Technically manage small-scale laboratory projects asrequired

  • Identifyprocess improvement opportunities through data analysis, observation, and technical reportwriting in collaboration with senior scientists and technicians

  • Monitor and interpret drug product study results

  • Organize and execute routine experimental workin accordance withestablished methods, SOPs, and applicable regulatory guidelines

  • Independentlyoperateand perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment relevant to assigned work

  • Recognize and communicate atypical results/deviationsand support investigation and resolution as needed

  • Accurately document work in batch records and/or electronic laboratory notebooks

  • Write and present technical summaries at department meetings and reviews

  • Collaborate with scientists, cross-functional teams,and manufacturing partners to share key learnings

  • Participate in project meetings and contribute technical input

  • Able to adapt to new proceduresand evolving project needs in a dynamic R&D environment

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory work environmentand encourage safe behaviors by coworkers

  • Contributes to a cohesive team environment andmaintainsa positive attitude

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific disciplinewith 2 years of relevantlaboratoryexperience will also be considered

  • Master's degree in Engineeringor a related STEM field preferred

  • Mechanical aptitude andhands-onexperience working with laboratory equipment

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical curiosity, and high learning agility

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting and presenting technical data

  • Demonstrated ownershipwiththeability toprioritize andmanage multipletasks efficiently

  • Interest in pharmaceutical science and drug product manufacturing, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience troubleshooting scientific equipment
