This is a paid internship, at competitive rates. The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.

CNO Financial Group is hiring a 40|86 Advisors Commercial Mortgage and Real Estate 2027 Intern to work alongside our experienced Commercial Mortgage and Real Estate associates within 40|86, assisting with professional day-to-day work within the department.

Core responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental corporate research in one or more industries and identify attractive investment opportunities.

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for use in the investment decision process.

  • Analyze both existing and potential new commercial real estate investments.

  • Interact with other members of the investment team including Portfolio Managers and Traders to help facilitate an effective investment decision making process.

What you need (Minimum requirements):

  • Progress towards a bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related discipline.

  • Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029.

  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.

  • Ability to work onsite in our Carmel, IN Corporate Office.

The CNO 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 06, 2027.

This role is affiliated with the Carmel, IN corporate office, and candidates for this role need to reside within a 60-mile radius of that corporate office and will be required to come into that office.You may be asked to travel to other corporate offices periodically. Please be aware that work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

The stated pay range is based on a national-average location. Actual salary is determined by factors including relevant work experience, skills and location. This position is also eligible for CNO's performance-based annual bonus program.
