Monitor projects to meet/exceed company specifications to Construction Policy, FCC Technical Standards, NEC, OSHA, State, County and/or City, and all other applicable agencies. • Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation: Identify potential project risks and work proactively to mitigate delays and budget overruns. Handle unexpected challenges with a solution-oriented approach. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation daily, including status reports, change orders, and as-built records. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients on project progress. Assist with project closeout activities. • Innovation & Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies and construction methodologies to enhance project efficiency and outcomes. Key Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in environmental construction administration/management with a focus on Commercial projects, Fiber Optic installations, telecommunications infrastructure, and related construction projects. • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of PMI and Construction Management principles, fiber optic network design and construction processes, including splicing, trenching, aerial and underground installations, and associated equipment. Knowledge of Underground Fiber routing and buried environments, utility construction. Experience managing ROW and ROE requirements a plus. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. • Project Management Expertise: Hands-on experience managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management. • Technical Proficiency: Solid knowledge of construction standards, safety protocols, and fiber optic technology. • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent preferred. Fiber optic-specific certifications (e.g., FOA, BICSI) are highly desirable. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, a related field, some coursework or equivalent industry experience.
