Project Coordinator
Location: Onsite in Elkridge, MD Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 plus bonus and full benefits (medical, dental, vision, pto plus holidays) Duration: Direct Hire
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator is a critical contributor within the operations team, responsible for coordinating material procurement and supporting production workflows. This role bridges the gap between design intent and production execution by translating technical drawings and field measurements into accurate and timely purchase orders.
This is an individual contributor role working closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure materials are delivered accurately and on schedule across multiple active projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret drawings and field measurements to generate precise orders
  • Collaborate with project teams and contractors to confirm specifications, dimensions, and requirements
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support manufacturing and installation teams
  • Review vendor quotes and order confirmations for accuracy, pricing, and compliance with project specifications
  • Manage order placement, track production timelines, and coordinate delivery schedules
  • Monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, revisions, and material needs are accurately tracked
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and maintain project flow
  • Support continuous process improvements within purchasing and production coordination
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of production or project coordination experience within construction, manufacturing, or a related technical environment
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (engineering, construction management, business, or related field); High School Diploma or equivalent required
