Job description

Coho Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and support enterprise Information Technology (IT) initiatives supporting the SOCOM Information Environment (SIE) in Camp Lejeune, NC. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing complex projects while ensuring alignment with customer objectives, budgets, schedules, and contractual requirements. This position serves as a trusted advisor to Government stakeholders by providing program management, acquisition planning, documentation oversight, performance monitoring, and quality assurance support.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned IT projects.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Provide program management and administrative support for multiple Government IT initiatives.
  • Assist with acquisition planning and development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), pricing documentation, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and security documentation.
  • Monitor contractor performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Quality Assurance metrics, and contractual requirements.
  • Prepare project status reports, scorecards, dashboards, and executive briefings.
  • Coordinate with Government Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and contractor personnel to ensure project success.
  • Maintain program documentation, contract records, and project repositories using Government-approved systems.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation libraries supporting program operations.
  • Review contractor deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and contractual compliance.
  • Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance program execution and operational efficiency.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Security Clearance
    • Active Top-Secret Clearance required
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or relevant government program management experience may be substituted for formal education
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Demonstrated Knowledge & Experience
    • Government acquisition lifecycle and contract administration
    • IT program management methodologies and best practices
    • Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance monitoring
