Job Title: Project Coordinator / Dispatcher

Job Description

The Project Coordinator / Dispatcher plays a key role in a fast-paced, high-volume customer service and dispatch operation based in Granville, OH. This position focuses on managing data, tracking project workflows, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating communication between customers, field technicians, and internal teams. The role is well-suited for someone with experience in construction, engineering, project coordination, dispatching, or document control who enjoys a task-driven environment and can quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage incoming service requests and work orders from initial receipt through completion.
  • Update, maintain, and manipulate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to support job tracking, reporting, and project documentation.
  • Enter, organize, and manage job information within Smartsheet and other tracking systems to ensure accurate project records.
  • Dispatch work assignments to field technicians and monitor job progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Track completed work and verify that jobs are properly closed out in all relevant systems.
  • Communicate clear and timely status updates to customers, field technicians, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support project coordinators with administrative tasks and document control functions, including organizing and maintaining project files.
  • Participate in team calls and meetings to understand workflow, project requirements, and scheduling priorities.
  • Ensure data accuracy, timely updates, and proper documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Identify additional tasks and contribute proactively during slower periods to support overall team efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
