Job description

Job Title: Project Controls Analyst- Newnan Ga

Duration: 10 months, possible extension

Locations: Newnan, Ga


Under general supervision, performs project controls assignments according to training, capability and experience. With additional experience and demonstrated capabilities, the individual is expected to assist in the preparation of larger and more complex project controls assignments.

Understands EPC work process and dependencies between functions. Develop project risk analysis skills.


Scheduling:

โ€ข Facilitates the development and maintenance of the Level I/II schedule.

โ€ข Leads in schedule development and maintenance, including fragnet identification and resource leveling.

โ€ข Leads critical path and float analysis reporting.

โ€ข Develops and maintains earned value reports.

โ€ข Gains understanding of key cost control processes.


Skills:

  • Scheduling Software: Mastery of Primavera P6 is essential
  • Critical Path Method (CPM)Analysis: Deep understanding of network diagrams, leads, lags, and identifying the exact sequence of activities that drive the project end date
  • Earned Value Management (EVM): The ability to link schedule progress with cost data to measure the actual performance of the project against its baseline
  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Skill in breaking large, complex projects down into smaller, manageable, and trackable components
  • Risk Analysis & Forecasting: Identifying potential schedule delays and evaluating both threats and opportunities to project

Education:

Four-year Bachelor's degree with six or more years of relevant Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with eight years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Prefer four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
