A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Manage aviation construction projects from preconstruction through completion; including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
  • Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
  • Manage complex aviation construction work including hangars, MRO facilities, FBO's, cargo facilities, aircraft support buildings, aviation manufacturing facilities, and other airport-related infrastructure
  • Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
  • Support aviation pursuits by helping with site reviews, constructibility input, schedules, budgets, scope reviews, and client meetings
  • Lead subcontractor buyout and ensure scopes are complete, coordinated, and aligned with the project schedule and budget
  • Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
  • Travel 25% nationally

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Experience with aviation, hangars, MRO, airport facilities, industrial, manufacturing, federal, defense, logistics, or technically complex projects preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
  • Based in Boston, MA, St. Louis, MO, or willing to relocate
