Account Executive

CST Industries is a global leader in engineered storage solutions, including factory-coated steel tanks, glass-fused-to-steel tanks, aluminum domes, and specialty covers. With manufacturing operations in the U.S. and U.K. and offices worldwide, CST serves customers across multiple industrial and municipal markets.

Role Summary

CST is currently looking for an Account Executive to be located in Winchester, TN; Parsons, KS; Kansas City, MO or remote. The Account Executive drives revenue growth by developing new business, managing key accounts, and representing CST's welded tank product line. This role focuses on territory development, building strong customer relationships, and uncovering opportunities through engineering firms, contractors, reps, and end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business within assigned territories.
  • Build a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, events, and CRM activity.
  • Develop relationships with engineering and consulting firms that influence tank and silo projects.
  • Conduct account reviews, site visits, and customer meetings to strengthen partnerships.
  • Deliver presentations, proposals, and project solutions aligned with CST's goals.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure accuracy and project success.
  • Maintain CRM records, forecasting, and follow-up activities.
  • Support rep and direct sales channels with training and joint visits.
Qualifications
  • 35+ years of outside sales or account management experience (industrial, construction, manufacturing, or engineered solutions preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read drawings, specs, and basic engineering plans.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to travel 5070% within assigned territory.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
