Join The Core AI Project team at Goldman Sachs and play a pivotal role in transforming the business through AI Enablement. You will get to work on one of the firm's priorities, and enable teams to leverage AI solutions, to accelerate and transform business technology as well as enhancing the productivity of our people.
As a member of The Core AI Project team, you will be driving day-to-day execution of enterprise AI initiatives while maintaining visibility with senior leadership. This role combines technical AI expertise with detailed program management, delivering measurable business outcomes in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment. The ideal candidate is AI-native, passionate about emerging technologies, extremely organized, and seeking meaningful impact in a startup-like setting.
This exciting opportunity will see you collaborating with key stakeholders from these divisions to improve our operational efficiency and productivity. The Core AI Project team operates horizontally across the Core divisions, with a mandate to strategically manage programming related to developer and non-developer productivity, as well as AI Initiative governance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Synthesize AI initiatives, pilot outcomes, and technological trends into high-impact executive presentations and strategic roadmaps, enabling senior leadership to make rapid, well-informed investment and scaling decisions.
  • Facilitate regular governance sessions with key cross-functional stakeholders to review, align on, and initiatives and use cases.
  • Partner with business units to identify, assess, and prioritize high-value AI use cases and workflow automation opportunities.
  • Design, execute, and oversee structured AI pilot programs (e.g., 8-to-12-week proof-of-concepts) with clearly defined success metrics and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various divisions to identify and prioritize AI applications that can drive operational efficiency and process improvements.
  • Work closely with Goldman Sachs Engineering teams to leverage their technical solutions and infrastructure, ensuring the successful deployment and scalability of AI applications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and GenAI technologies and proactively identify opportunities to incorporate these innovations into our AI strategies.

Qualifications, Experience, and Attributes:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative subject such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, or clear impact demonstrated in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
    • Exceptional communication and change management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience designing educational curricula or corporate training programs.
    • Possesses a strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate datasets into clear, actionable visual narratives.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective AI solutions.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for staying at the forefront of AI and GenAI advancements and applying them to solve business challenges.
