Job description

Sterling Ridge Group is a dynamic construction group working across a variety of areas, including heavy civil infrastructure, underground utilities, industrial projects, electrical work, power, trucking, and general contracting.


We are seeking a full time Logistics Coordinator to work with our Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be an organized, highly motivated, team player and have some experience with transportation in the construction industry.


Job Type: Full-time, Permanent


Responsibilities will include:


  • Assist with daily scheduling of logistics/tucking services (both inter-company drivers and third-party transport companies).
  • Yard Management.
  • Coordinate the accurate and timely delivery and return of equipment to and from job sites.
  • Procure and track rental equipment.
  • Issue Purchase Orders as required
  • Procure and track small tools and equipment
  • Review and approve invoices
  • Dispatch equipment and small tools to project sites


Qualifications:


  • Dispatching and Logistics experience preferred
  • Inventory management skills would be an asset
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft excel mandatory
  • strong communication skills
  • strong organization skills
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment, trucking and construction including small tools and equipment would be an asset


Salary: Negotiable and aligned with industry standards; commensurate with experience.
