What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a dependable administrative professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following experience requirements:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting

  • 2+ years in customer service, reception, retail, or a similar role

  • 2+ years in bookkeeping or accounting

  • 3+ years in a professional print shop environment

  • Post-secondary education or vocational training in healthcare

  • Previous experience in healthcare, research, or compliance

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of medical terminology

  • Familiarity with insurance processes including Medicare and Medicaid

  • Basic knowledge of medical billing and coding (ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems

Additional Requirements (if applicable)

  • CPR certification or Notary Public certification

  • Valid driver’s license with no major violations within the past 36 months if driving is required

  • Personal vehicle used for Logan Health business must meet state minimum insurance requirements

What You’ll Do

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative and technical support to the assigned department

  • Serve as a primary resource and point of contact for staff

  • Coordinate department communication, scheduling, and workflow

  • Maintain records, documentation, and tracking systems

  • Compile and prepare department reports and data

Department Coordination

  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and department activities

  • Prepare meeting agendas and record meeting minutes

  • Support leadership with operational tracking and departmental metrics

  • Order and maintain office supply inventory

Financial & Regulatory Support

  • Assist with invoice processing, reimbursements, and financial tracking

  • Support credentialing, compliance, and regulatory documentation

  • Assist with insurance verification, authorization tracking, or billing processes as applicable

Team Support

  • Assist with training and onboarding new staff

  • Provide backup administrative coverage when needed

  • Support department projects and initiatives
