A Day In The Life
  • Work with the Site Supervisor & Project Management team in scheduling, coordinating and tracking deliveries
  • Attend hand off & autopsy meetings
  • Work with PM and Estimator to prepare a comprehensive material list for the project
  • Assist the PM in preparing takeoffs and estimates for change orders
  • Issue submittal packages, samples, bonds and insurances
  • Fill out warranties and send close out packages
  • Assist Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of the project (ie. forecasting, planning, analysis, etc)
  • Responsible for all product securement and invoice processing for the Production Department
  • Contacting and negotiatingΒ productΒ prices with suppliers, while also staying current on all new productsΒ by participating in educational opportunitiesΒ 
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, while also maintaining a data base of any past, present, or prospective suppliersΒ 
  • Working with Projects Managers and Superintendents to order materials to siteΒ as neededΒ Β Β 
  • Invoice Management, accurate and timely processing of invoicesΒ 
  • Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents appropriatelyΒ 
What We Are Seeking
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing, administrative or project coordinator role, preferably in the construction and/or manufacturing industry
  • Strong analytical thinking, planning and negotiation skills are required; attention detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skillsΒ 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office suit
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team playerΒ
