Performance Contracting is seeking a Project Assistant for its Boise 548 operations based in Meridian, ID. Job responsibilities include:

  • Inputting project information into Excel and Bluebeam
  • Creating and managing punch lists
  • Assisting with the preparation RFI’s and submittals
  • Assisting with managing labor control on the project
  • Assisting in the preparation of quantity take-offs for material ordering
  • Maintaining accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence
  • Tracking and cost-valuing material handling

Pay range: $18-22 per hour, depending on experience.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a degree program in Construction Management, Construction Science, or similar field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical functions and applying new skills are they’re learned
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and receive and follow direction from multiple sources
  • Possesses critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
