International Project Analyst

Responsibilities
The Project Analyst serves as the lead Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) Program. This position is ideally suited for professionals with demonstrated experience in federal acquisitionDepartment of Defense (DoD) program execution, and project management who are skilled at managing complex initiatives in support of national security objectives.
The successful candidate will apply knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, project planning and execution, and performance management to support the implementation of DoD acquisition strategies that enable international threat reduction activities. The role requires coordinating multiple concurrent efforts, managing project schedules and deliverables, tracking financial execution, and ensuring compliance with government requirements while supporting mission-critical programs.
As the principal A&AS advisor to the Government Project Officer, the Project Analyst is responsible for ensuring project deliverables meet established quality, cost, and schedule objectives. The position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, the ability to effectively engage government stakeholders, and experience supporting acquisition planning, contract execution, and program management activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Travel internationally up to 20% of the time
  • Secret Clearance required. US Citizenship required. 
  • Acquisition experience and related training
  • Project Management experience
  • Financial Management experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tool suites
  • Demonstrated ability to write for Senior Leaders
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
