Position Title: Project Control Analyst
Location: Hybrid - Arlington, VA- in office 2-3x per week and as needed

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Project Control Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team, supporting numerous contracts across multiple government agencies.

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of project financial management. You will manage project budgets, costs, and schedules to ensure optimum financial performance, serving as the financial subject matter expert for project managers. Key duties include cost tracking, variance analysis, Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) forecasting, and subcontractor funding management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide budget, contract, and, financial management support to Project Managers
  • Assist Project Managers with monthly forecasts and project reporting requirements
  • Perform and manage all budget and cost control functions, including labor and subcontracting costs
  • Prepare month-end reports, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports as required
  • Continuously monitor project/program results and identify areas for profit improvement
  • Identify and communicate compliance and financial performance risks
  • Coordinate with corporate accounting staff to ensure invoices are submitted per established timelines and contractual requirements
  • Maintain project structure and data in Unanet ERP system
  • Manage subcontracting process, including PR/PO set up, funding analysis, and subcontract invoice accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years' experience providing project finance support for government services contracts
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions for calculation and analysis
  • Familiarity with ERP software and analytic tools (Unanet, Power BI, etc.)
  • Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and government contract compliance requirements
  • Ability to identify program risks, assist with associated mitigation plans, and assist with identifying and prioritizing requirements
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Track record of delivering well-organized and accurate work

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must havereliableinternet service that allows for effective telecommuting on the days working remote.
