PAY RANGE: ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
Administrative Assistant I: $19.18 - $ 23.99
Administrative Assistant II: $21.87 - $27.35
Sr Administrative Assistant: $25.52 - $31.92
Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Additional hours as required)

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The position provides administrative support to the Large T&S Field Construction Group. ย The position supports personnel spread across several Evergy facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

ย ย ย ย Administrative support to Large T&S Construction including Project Managers, Real Estate, Field Construction Management, and Substation Construction & Maintenance management teams
ย ย ย ย Prepares special reports, charts, and presentations
ย ย ย ย Assists in planning and coordinating training and safety events
ย ย ย ย Support onboarding of new hires including creating and tracking service requests
ย ย ย ย Create and track facility and IT requests for the supported work groups
ย ย ย ย Prepare monthly expense reports for supported work groups ย 
ย ย ย ย Coordinate travel planning and scheduling for individuals and groups
ย ย ย ย Coordinate facility scheduling and catering for large meetings and events
ย ย ย ย Create requisitions and receipts for vendors
ย ย ย ย Data entry duties as needed
ย 

Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will have administrative support experience supporting diverse operations and working with multiple supervisors. ย 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:
Candidate must be very detail oriented and must be able to deal with large volumes of data and maintain a high level of accuracy. Requires strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. ย PeopleSoft experience or related systems experience is preferred. ย  Must have the ability to apply creative problem solving and sound reasoning. ย Must be able to deal well with customers, handle multiple priorities, and process information in an accurate, orderly' and timely manner. ย Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and provide a high level of internal/external customer service. ย Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team. ย 

Licenses and Testing Required:
Successful candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. This job will require intermittent travel as needed.
