Overview
Consonus Pharmacy in Redmond, WA and is hiring a Pharmacist Intern to join our team. The hours for this position are very flexible after the initial orientation and training period. Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of Nursing Home patients and their caregivers. This unique and challenging sub-set of the Pharmacy practice requires a goal oriented, productive and hard-working employee that can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our team is looking for dedicated Pharmacy students that are seeking hands-on experience working in a long-term care pharmacy setting. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain practical pharmacy experience as you progress through your pharmacy curriculum. This is a part-time position. Hours are flexible, nights and weekends are available.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
  • Handle incoming fax and telephone communication
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care
  • Properly handle order exceptions such as refill to soon, invalid orders, etc.
  • Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers
  • Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast paced environment
  • Pharmacist intern duties such as taking telephone orders and providing clinical information under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist
