This role is responsible for overseeing complex healthcare construction and capital improvement programs, managing high-performing project teams, and serving as a trusted advisor to healthcare system executives.The Director will provide strategic advisory, program, and project management services to healthcare clients while also contributing to business development and operational leadership.The ideal candidate brings deep experience delivering healthcare capital projects—such as hospitals, outpatient facilities, and specialized clinical space and a proven track record of leading teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing risk, and delivering projects on time and within budget.**Key Responsibilities**### Strategic Leadership & Governance* Define and execute regional or market-specific strategies for healthcare capital projects* Contribute to enterprise-wide healthcare strategy and represent the practice at executive forums* Support growth of healthcare program and project management offerings### ### Client Leadership & Business Development* Build and maintain executive-level relationships with healthcare system leaders, facility executives, and capital planning teams* Lead pursuit strategies, support contract negotiations, and secure new engagements* Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term client retention### ### Program & Project Oversight* Provide executive oversight for large, complex healthcare capital programs and portfolios* Ensure projects comply with healthcare-specific regulatory, safety, and accreditation requirements (e.g., OSHPD/HCAI, FGI Guidelines)* Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation across multiple projects* Support project teams in mitigating issues related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality### Technical & Operational Leadership* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to project and program managers* Ensure consistent application of best practices in healthcare planning, design coordination, and construction management* Oversee development and review of project documentation, reports, and executive-level presentations* Implement process improvements, controls, and tools to enhance delivery performance and efficiency* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design professionals, contractors, and internal advisory teams## Qualifications### Required* 10+ years of progressive experience in construction or capital project management, with significant experience delivering healthcare facilities.* Demonstrated success leading large, complex healthcare construction projects with multiple stakeholders.* Deep knowledge of healthcare building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage systems.* Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, building codes, commissioning, transition planning, and operational readiness.* Proven executive-level communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.* Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Procore, and Primavera.### Preferred* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).* Professional certifications such asPMP, CCM, or CHC.**Working Hours:** Full-Time Exempt, Hybrid position.Expected compensation range is between $200,000K- $250,000K annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.**What’s In It For You:*** Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)* Company-paid life and disability insurance* Optional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans* 401(k) with day-one eligibility.
