Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Safe and efficient operation of all machining equipment.
  • Perform set-up operations including tooling, workholding/fixturing and program verification.
  • Precisely measure/inspect parts to verify part quality and accuracy at all stages of setup and run.
  • Proper management, utilization and maintenance of all tools, fixtures and devices.
  • Optimizing each machine process to produce the most efficient and productive process possible.
  • Create, store, edit, and retrieve CNC programs.
  • Daily/weekly machine maintenance.
  • Participation in continuous improvement processes.

Experience:

  • 3+ yrs. operating CNC machining equipment.
  • Knowledge of G&M code programming language.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills (fractions, decimals)
  • Ability to convert metric to imperial.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Experience with sheet metal and light plate.
