Job description

Position title: Program Manager

Location: Mobile, Alabama

Clearance required: SECRET

Scope: The Program Manager is responsible for keeping the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) informed about Contractor progress throughout the performance period of the task order supporting the USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Project Residence Office (PRO). This individual ensures Contractor activities remain aligned with Coast Guard objectives and serves as the primary point of accountability for progress reporting and communication with Government stakeholders.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Progress Communication: Keep the COR informed of Contractor progress throughout the performance period, ensuring all activities align with Coast Guard objectives.
  • Deliverable Presentation: Meet with the COR upon request to present deliverables, discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical problems and issues.
  • Monthly Status Reviews: At minimum, review contract status and Contractor performance with the COR on a monthly basis.
  • Meeting Coordination: Participate in progress meetings at the Government facility or via telephone as required.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve emergent technical problems and issues in a timely manner.
  • Available to meet with the COR upon request.
  • Participate in monthly progress meetings (starting the second month after award).
  • Meetings conducted at Government facility or via telephone.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
