  • Undertake new projects as needs arise.
  • Manage general TOV inquiries and referrals.
  • Maintain the newsletter, website, and all social media pages.
  • Staff TOV programs and events as needed.
  • Represent the JUF TOV Network to other departments, agencies and lay leadership as needed.
  • Foster new partnerships and relationships between TOV and Chicagoland organizations, synagogues, and institutions.

What you need to succeed:

  •  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience
  •  2-5 years’ experience in an office setting
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  •  Experience with virtual meeting facilitation (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  •  Ability to become proficient in Salesforce
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, verbal and written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort when working with a wide range of professionals and lay leaders, including overseeing a committee
  • Willingness to create and lead service learning conversations
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects at one time, and work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license encouraged—owning a car is a plus.

What you’ll love about us:

At JUF, you can be part of one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in Illinois. We provide food, refuge, healthcare, education, emergency assistance, and essential services to 500,000 Chicagoans of all faiths and millions of Jews around the world. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with base contribution and match, additional health and wellness benefits, financial benefits, professional training, tuition reimbursement, paid family leave, and much more.
