About the Work

Business Office (SXZ)

The Source Business Office leads and executes timely and effective business operations across the Source Operations enterprise by providing a consistent level of quality and timely support to group office and senior leadership. SXZ’s functions include the following:

  • Optimizes resource utilization by evaluating, prioritizing, and directing resource decisions;
  • Serves as the principle governance and oversight of front office executive staff support, the office secretariat, and internal governance activities within the group;
  • Provides compelling strategic corporate messaging to the group's workforce, mission partners, and stakeholders;
  • Manages the group's tasking and suspense process, workspace seating and IT requirements;
  • Advises senior management on control of the group's resources through effective program planning and financial execution.

Evaluate programs performance across the organization and make comprehensive recommendations to the Government. Provide expertise and advice to plan, manage, and execute programs and projects. Provide the Government advance and objective insight into program issues, execution risks, and corrective actions. Draft, review, and, after Government approval, publish program reports required by statutes and regulations. Participate in program management and business management reviews and provide feedback to the Government. Support programmatic activities with development contractors. Review and revise management and governance policies, instructions, standards, and best practices. Develop and plan tailored contract oversight and scope verification activities consistent with NGA program and financial management policies and plans. Review and assess working documentations and changes. Participate in NGA planning activities with Mission Partners, and development contractor sponsored Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and working groups. Develop and update program business plans, advocacy briefings, and program schedules in accordance with agency policy. Develop and coordinate Program Plans and program approval documentation.

Your Duties

  • Provide overall program management support by providing strategic resource integration required for NGA’s transformation; and capture resource requirements needed to adequately Plan and Program resources to achieve the desired states.
  • Collaborate and outreach with various groups within NGA to ensure program management, which includes, but not limited to, performance metrics are done in alignment with NGA Strategy 2025, or an equivalent, entity-wide strategic document.
  • Research and implement solutions that link strategic activities with Federal Acquisitions Management activities.
  • Develop and create business intelligence presentations, using applications such as Tableau, Cognos, and MS Excel.
  • Develop data-informed presentations that strategically inform senior level leaders for decision-making.
  • Adapt to changing requirements and management directives.
  • Work independently and as a team member under pressure, and tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Conduct cost risk and benefit analysis.
  • Develop and provide presentation of costing material, technical briefings and management status reports.
  • Act as a Program/Project Manager for NGA Source Operations Group supporting activities related to strategic integration of resources required for NGA’s transformation, working across the Source Key Component (KC) and other key offices who support Source Operation's mission.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) Security Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • BachelorÕs degree and 15+ years of relevant experience. Advanced degree can substitute for some experience
  • Demonstrated experience with panchromatic, spectral, and Synthetic Aperture Radar imaging systems, data, and formats
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced data management/trend analysis skills.
  • (U)Demonstrated experience in advanced problem analysis resolution ability.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and direct teams of contractor personnel s, effectively share knowledge with others and work cooperatively as a team member.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with senior-level directors or agency heads.
  • Demonstrated experience in completing tasks with minimal Government oversight.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy and administration; planning; business management; communications; and/or project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in multiple markets (i.e., Government, Industry)
  • Demonstrated experience of commercial imagery sensing imagery systems, processes, products and services.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in Accelerated Tasking Orchestration (ATO) and Integrated Collection Orchestration (ICO).
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating senior-level discussions of GEOINT Accelerated Tasking Orchestration (ATO) and Integrated Collection Orchestration (ICO) concept and future strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in Deep Remote Sensing /Geospatial-Intelligence (20+ years in Government or industry related experience).
  • Demonstrated experience of the Tasking Collection Production Exploitation Dissemination process and the imagery intelligence cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in working under pressure.
