KORTX is a modern media agency specializing in integrated advertising solutions for brands, agencies, and franchise organizations. We blend programmatic media, creative strategy, and advanced analytics to drive measurable results.
Rooted in the resilience and creativity of Detroit, our team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and accountability to drive transformative results for our clients. Every member of our team contributes to our shared success, bringing unique perspectives and skillsets to the table.
About the Role
KORTX is a managed digital advertising partner helping agencies and brands deliver high-performance media across programmatic, search, social, CTV, DOOH, and emerging channels. Our team works as an extension of our clients' internal teams, combining strategic expertise with hands-on execution to drive measurable results.
We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to drive new business growth and build long-term partnerships with agencies and brands. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role responsible for identifying opportunities, leading the full sales cycle, and securing multi-year partnerships that position KORTX as a preferred digital media partner.
The ideal candidate is a proven revenue driver who thrives in consultative selling environments and has deep experience in digital media and programmatic advertising.
What You'll Do
Drive Strategic Revenue Growth
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with advertising agencies and brands selling managed service media.
  • Own the full sales cycle-from prospecting and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed multi-million-dollar annual revenue targets.
  • Secure long-term, embedded partnerships that generate recurring revenue and deepen client engagement.
Build Strong Client Partnerships
  • Develop executive-level relationships with agency leaders and brand decision-makers.
  • Deliver compelling, consultative presentations and proposals aligned with client business goals.
  • Position KORTX as a trusted extension of client teams to support ongoing collaboration and growth.
Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Support and mentor account executives and sales managers while contributing to a culture of accountability and high performance.
Manage Pipeline and Market Presence
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and industry relationships.
  • Forecast revenue and manage pipeline activity using CRM tools such as HubSpot.
  • Stay informed on digital media trends and competitive activity to inform strategy.
  • Represent KORTX at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
  • 8-10+ years of experience in digital media sales, with an emphasis on programmatic advertising.
  • Demonstrated success prospecting and closing new business with agencies and brands.
  • Proven track record of exceeding $5M+ annual revenue targets.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Deep knowledge of digital media channels including CTV, search, social, DOOH, rich media, and emerging platforms.
  • Highly self-motivated with the resilience and drive required in a competitive sales environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience leading or mentoring sales teams in an agency, publisher, or adtech environment. This is an individual contributor role with opportunity to mentor junior sellers.
  • Established network of senior-level independent agency and brand relationships.
Travel
  • Approximately 20-30% travel for prospecting, client meetings, and industry events.
Why Join KORTX
  • Opportunity to shape strategic partnerships with leading agencies and brands
  • Collaborative, highly tenured, high-performance team environment
  • Exposure to cutting-edge digital media and programmatic innovation in an AI forward company
  • Ability to make a measurable impact on a growing company
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package:
    • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
    • Medical, Vision and Dental on day 1 for you and your family
    • Open Vacation Policy
    • Paid Maternity and Paternity programs
    • Safe Harbor 401k plan with employer match
    • Wellness and cell phone stipend + T&E Budget
