About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic execution expert to serve as the Program Manager for the Global Life Sciences Activation & Adoption division. Sitting within the Portfolio Intelligence & Governance pod, this role blends rigorous program management with crucial executive operational support.
Acting as a force multiplier for the SVP, you will translate the team's strategic priorities into measurable execution - ensuring the right work is tracked, the right information surfaces at the right time, and the SVP remains fully connected to both internal pod leads and external stakeholders. You will be the backbone of the team, responsible for tracking, measuring, and prioritizing key activities to maximize our impact. By partnering closely with the SVP, the Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy & Intelligence, and pillar leads, you will ensure that all initiatives are strategically aligned, highly measurable, and effectively communicated both internally and externally.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The right candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the AFLS portfolio successfully transitions to a full-scale product model by bringing rigorous prioritization and measurement to our daily operations. You'll:

  • Track, measure, and prioritize key activities across all operational pods to maximize team impact, ensuring every initiative has a clear, reportable measurement system.

  • Function as a strategic operational proxy to leadership, managing the intake and prioritization of new activities. You will partner directly with the strategy lead to ensure new requests remain on strategy and that team members are measuring their work output in an easily reportable way.

  • Partner with the SVP on executive communications and evangelism, driving the creation of internal and external content - including messaging, newsletters, blogs, customer activities, and event materials.

  • Own the SVP's operating cadence - including scheduling and preparing agendas for Global Leadership Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Steering Committee sessions, and all-hands communications - working closely with the SVP's Executive Assistant to optimize executive time and readiness.

  • Ghostwrite SVP communications including internal announcements, external thought leadership content, customer-facing email outreach, and Dreamforce and industry event materials, ensuring consistent voice and strategic alignment.

  • Facilitate tracking of team-wide KSO performance and customer and partner compliance with published frameworks, including governance adoption, alignment with the standard implementation blueprint, and accelerator usage, and provide the SVP with data-backed insights for Steering Committee and global leadership audiences.

  • Work intimately with pillar leads across Partner Strategy & Compliance, Product Roadmap & Accelerators, and Account Activation & Remediation to eliminate operational bottlenecks and streamline reporting.

REPORTING & ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
Reporting line: Reports directly to the SVP, Global Life Sciences Activation & Adoption
Pod alignment: Operates within a cross-team program management function
Collaboration: Serves as the primary operational partner to the Senior Director, Portfolio Strategy & Intelligence and acts as the central coordination point for all AFLS Core Team Collaborators
FINANCIAL & BUSINESS ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Tracks and reports on the operational budget utilization of the Portfolio Intelligence & Governance pod, flagging variances and supporting the SVP in resource prioritization decisions.

  • Establishes baselines and measurement systems for the ROI of team activities - including enablement programs, evangelism events, and customer engagements - ensuring the SVP and Steering Committee have clear visibility into activity-level spend and impact.

  • Ensures all programmatic activities and intake priorities are aligned to NNAOV growth objectives for the AFLS portfolio, escalating misaligned requests before resources are committed.

SUCCESS METRICS (KEY SUCCESS OBJECTIVES - KSOS)
You will be measured by your ability to drive programmatic visibility and support overarching team KSOs:

  • Governance & Operational Adoption - Drive the internal adoption of our tracking systems, supporting the broader goal to scale customer/partner Governance Adoption.

  • Evangelism & Value Measurement - Establish baselines and track the measurable impact of internal/external content, newsletters, and customer event activities.

  • Portfolio Health Alignment - Ensure team activities are accurately prioritized to help improve the overall Account Health Score and reduce AFLS Case Volume per rescue account.

  • Operating Cadence Excellence - Ensure 100% of QBRs, Steerco sessions, and Leadership meetings are prepared on time, with complete briefing materials and clear follow-up action tracking.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Execution & Program Management

  • Deep expertise in managing complex, cross-functional programs, prioritizing intake, and standardizing reporting metrics across diverse teams.

Executive Operations & Chief of Staff Support

  • Exceptional ability to manage up and down, act as a strategic gatekeeper for the SVP, and ensure new projects align tightly with the core strategic vision.

  • Proven experience owning an executive's operating cadence - including QBRs, leadership meetings, Steerco sessions, and all-hands - ensuring the leader is expertly briefed, time is protected, and follow-through is tracked.

  • Exercises impeccable judgment, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive organizational, portfolio, and executive information.

Executive Communications & Content

  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical or operational achievements into compelling newsletters, blogs, and executive presentations.

  • Experienced ghostwriter and communications strategist - can write in the SVP's voice across internal announcements, external thought leadership, and customer-facing materials.

Metric-Driven Mindset

  • Master of putting things into focus; able to design systems that allow team members to seamlessly measure and report their work output.

Agility

  • Thrives in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and can quickly adapt intake processes as the team scales its modern operational frameworks.

  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic level (long-term planning, Steerco alignment) and the tactical level (day-to-day prioritization and firefighting) - a true force multiplier who shifts registers effortlessly.

Data, Analytics & Tooling Proficiency

  • Proficiency with Salesforce platform reporting tools including Salesforce Reports & Dashboards and CRM Analytics to track activity-level KSO performance and team output.

  • Comfortable using AI-assisted productivity tools (such as Agentforce, Slackbot, Gemini, or equivalent) to accelerate content creation, meeting summarization, and stakeholder communications.

  • Familiarity with program and project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana, or equivalent for managing cross-pod intake, workstream tracking, and governance cadences.

  • Proficiency with Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Google Docs/Quip for building executive briefing materials, newsletters, and operating guides.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Program Management, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, or Executive Strategy roles, preferably within the Enterprise Cloud or Life Sciences technology space.

  • Proven history of establishing operational rhythms, intake processes, and measurement systems for large, cross-disciplinary teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality executive content and manage internal/external communications strategies.

  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to influence and partner cross-functionally without direct reporting authority.

  • Demonstrated experience owning executive operating cadences including QBRs, Steerco sessions, and leadership meeting rhythms for SVP-level or above leaders.

  • Exercises impeccable judgment, maturity, and discretion; high tolerance for ambiguity, complexity, and shifting priorities in a fast-moving build environment.

  • Internal Salesforce experience or hands-on familiarity with the Salesforce platform and product suite is a strong plus.
