Job description

Program Technician For Nursing And Health Occupations

The Program Technician for Nursing and Health Occupations provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and student support for programs such as ADN, VN, CNA, and specialty certificates.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily program operations; maintaining accurate student and program records in compliance with regulatory standards; processing clinical placement documentation; assisting with class, lab, and simulation scheduling; and preparing reports, correspondence, and program materials.

The role serves as a primary point of contact for students by supporting application processes, onboarding, and compliance tracking (e.g., immunizations, background checks, certifications) while connecting students to campus resources. The technician also coordinates clinical requirements and communication with healthcare partners, supports skills lab and simulation logistics, maintains inventory and equipment records, assists with data tracking and accreditation reporting, coordinates events and meetings such as orientations and advisory boards, supports purchasing and budget tracking, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus departments to ensure efficient program operations and student success.

This position requires excellent time management, organizational, communication, and project management skills to ensure timely and successful implementation of grant objectives for a variety of projects.
