    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Academic Affairs.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after August 17, 2026 and ending on or before May 31, 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • The Student Assistant provides administrative, clerical, and project support to the Academic Programs Office, within the Office of the Provost. Under the direction of Academic Programs staff, the incumbent assists with curriculum processing, academic catalog production, web content updates, accessibility remediation projects, records management, meeting and event support, and special projects. The position supports the implementation of approved curriculum changes, maintenance of academic program records, and operational activities that contribute to the efficient functioning of Academic Programs.
      Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Update records and verify data accuracy under the guidance of the Curriculum Specialist.
      • Maintain curriculum tracking records and documentation for reporting.
      • Prepare and route forms for signature and approval.
      • Assist with updating electronic catalog content, roadmap webpages, and online documents.
      • Support catalog proofreading and quality assurance activities.
      • Verify formatting consistency and report discrepancies.
      • Assist with website updates and accessibility efforts.
      • Review documents and web content for ADA Title II compliance.
      • Maintain filing systems.
      • Organize curriculum and catalog documentation.
      • Assist with routine office projects and communications.
      • Assist with in-person and online event preparation, Zoom registration, setup/breakdown, reservations, and logistics.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
      • Ability to commit to a regular work schedule of at least 12 hours per week during the academic year.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
    • Salary Range
    • $16.90 per hour.
