This position will be supervised by the FGP/SCP Coordinator. Provides basic administrative and program support to FGP and SCP and volunteers enrolled in those programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must report to work as scheduled on a regular and reliable basis.
Successfully complete all required pre-service orientation and training.
Must insure confidentiality of all client information and act in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to understand and comply with various laws, rules, regulations, policies and guidelines as they pertain to both ENOA and ENHSA.
Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing and be able to establish effective working relationships with many different people, ranging from potential providers, directors, coordinators, professionals, community representatives, pertinent NDHHS staff, other support staff and the general public.
Be a dedicated team member with positive attitude toward working with staff and with clients and their formal and informal support systems.
Compile and compute volunteer reimbursement requests.
Maintain reimbursement records, volunteer and/or recipient files and records and maintain general files for program use.
Complete monthly reports under the direction of the FGP/SCP Coordinator.
Compute reimbursements for program volunteers and vendors. Log and distribute reimbursements.
Distribute incoming, outgoing and inter-office mail.
Distribute pertinent program information.
Maintain and update volunteer and program files and documents.
Screen calls for program area.
Type letters, memos and e-mails related to the needs of the program.
Assist with recruitment efforts.
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
Assist program staff in the preparation of grants, reports and budgets and maintain files on those documents.
Assist program staff in planning training, recognition and in-service activities as well as securing materials and scheduling speakers for those events.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to type proficiently and operate a calculator accurately. Ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as well as assist in special projects. Must have basic knowledge of bookkeeping/math calculations. Must have good computer skills with general knowledge of Microsoft office and have the ability to learn other computer systems.
