ACADEMIC OPERATIONS

Are you a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who thrives in a dynamic academic environment? As a Program Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of programming across NorQuest's Academic Portfolio. Reporting to a Program Coordinator, you'll provide exceptional student services and administrative oversight, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming experience for students, faculty, and staff.

You'll work closely with Academic Program Managers, Program Chairs, and faculty members-often independently-to proactively manage administrative tasks and contribute to the success of our programs. Your professionalism and responsiveness will enhance NorQuest's brand and help create a positive, student-centered environment.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to student and departmental inquiries via email, phone, and messaging platforms.
  • Support program delivery by coordinating timetables, setting up Moodle shells, and managing logistics for internal and external events.
  • Maintain and update program and service information, ensuring accuracy across platforms and print materials.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to resolve issues, escalate concerns appropriately, and ensure smooth program operations.
  • Manage administrative processes, including onboarding, records management, and supply ordering.
  • Maintain data accuracy in PeopleSoft Student and support scheduling, attendance, and gradebook functions.
  • Assist with instructor assignments, grade submissions, and course evaluations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency and student success.

WHAT YOU BRINGย 

  • Minimum qualification of an applicable diploma and 3+ years in related experience in a post-secondary institution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with MS Teams, SharePoint, CoPilot and Power Platform is an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft and a demonstrated ability to manage data and administrative systems effectively.
