Job Summary:
The Strategic Support Research & Development Program Support Analyst will provide program support to the Analytics Group for investigative tools and resources used in criminal investigations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a user account administrator for SSRD controlled tools & platforms. Responsible for new account creation, revocation of accounts, addressing access issues (e.g. password resets) and troubleshooting technical issues with vendors.
  • Create and deliver training materials (job aids, walkthroughs, quick start guides, recorded demos) for investigative tools and AI capabilities, tailored to inspectors, analysts, and program managers.
  • Conduct utilization and performance analysis, including tracking adoption metrics, identifying gaps, and producing dashboards or summaries that inform leadership decisions.
  • Conducting periodic compliance reviews to ensure tool usage is in alignment with SOPs.
  • Maintain documentation repositories, ensuring SOPs, training materials, pilot reports, and tool evaluations are current, accessible, and standardized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of SSRD team's tool maintenance, technology research, and capability development efforts.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Significant work experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • Demonstrated work experience with similar duties.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing sufficient to express thoughts and ideas to internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects.
  • Ability to schedule and meet project deliverables, review project progress, and recommend changes in methodology where necessary.
  • Ability to assess vulnerabilities, risks, opportunities, and unintended consequences associated with investigative tools and resources while making recommendations and actions.
  • Ability to utilize various databases to monitor, reconcile, and update to ensure compliance with established policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data and research to assist in completing projects and producing reports.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g.: Excel, Word, PowerPoint) sufficient to compile data, update statistical reports, and prepare formal and informal work products.
  • Experience working with law enforcement is desired but not required.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Favorable credit check for all cleared positions
  • Successfully passing a background investigation including drug screening.
  • Residency requirement - 3 consecutive years in the last 5 years.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
  • Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 10% of the time.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10%
  • Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type, and use a telephone system 100% of the time.
  • Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
