Employer: Our client is seeking a qualified Lesson Learned Program Support Analyst. This role is designed to support the Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) at various global locations.
Overview:
As a Lesson Learned Program Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing and managing lesson-learned programs, including joint and Navy initiatives, as well as the fleet experimentation program. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Navy and joint administrative and operational structures, command relationships, and naval warfare objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality service and support aligned with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Assist in implementing and managing lesson-learned programs for joint and Navy initiatives and the fleet experimentation program.
- Demonstrate a profound understanding of U.S. Navy and joint administrative and operational command and control structures.
- Support naval warfighting priorities, capabilities, and offer insights into major weapons systems relevant to naval and joint operations.
- Utilize superior oral and written communication skills to engage with senior military and civilian personnel, exercising tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Demonstrate expertise in personal computers and application software, especially Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain an active Secret clearance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six to ten years of naval military experience, with at least three years in an operational level staff role.
- Working knowledge of joint and Navy lessons learned programs and the fleet experimentation program.
- Proficiency in U.S. Navy and joint administrative and operational command and control structures.
- Understanding of naval warfare objectives, operations, concepts, and doctrine.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work closely with senior military and civilian personnel.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, maintaining positive working relationships.
- Expertise in personal computers and application software.
- Hold an active Secret clearance.
