Operations Service Administrator
Sofidel America of North Las Vegas, NV is currently seeking an Operations Service Administrator to join our operations team. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, track inventories, and handle inquiries related to orders, including pulp, chemicals, and operational supplies.
  • Oversee receiving, issuing, and consumption tracking for pulp, broke, and chemical inventories to ensure accurate usage, availability, and reconciliation.
  • Guarantee efficient development and execution of administrative processes related to purchasing, procurement, inventory control, and material flow for operations.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining planned stock levels, including pulp, broke, and chemicals, to support production continuity and cost control.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular reviews, cycle counts, and coordination with operations to address discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with Group guidelines, procedures, and safety standards related to purchasing, inventory management, and material handling.
  • Provide support to the Purchase Department in managing supplier relationships, including coordination on delivery schedules, quality issues, and inventory needs.
  • Ensure accurate lead times and alignment with purchaser specifications for materials and chemicals used in operations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Office to resolve purchasing and invoicing issues, including discrepancies related to received and consumed materials.
  • Promote a corporate culture based on safety, particularly in the handling, storage, and use of pulp, broke, and chemicals.
  • Communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain working knowledge of new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines impacting purchasing and inventory management.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or six (6) to twelve (12) months experience manufacturing inventory and purchasing and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work in a cross functionally across departments and in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as needed with strong time-management skills.
