What an Office Assistant Does:
  • Assist multiple Directors and an Owner in operating the school
  • Manage compliance with Goddard QA standards and Ohio licensing requirements
  • Maintain system for accurate child and teacher files
  • Ability to run the school office, answer phones, handle parent and teacher inquiries with confidence, close the school, order supplies, and child snacks.
  • Substitute for absent teachers in classrooms when needed
  • Drive a 14-passenger school bus when needed, (special driver's licensing is NOT required)
  • Perform mock QAs and emergency drills
  • Manage teacher training completions
  • Assist with school special projects

  • Experience is a plus, but we value passion and dedication just as much! If you're enthusiastic about working with children, we'd love to hear from you
  • A high school diploma (and if you have early childhood experience, that's a bonus!)
  • Someone who's dependable, positive, and works well in a team and without a lot of supervision.
  • Proficient with office technology, MS Office apps, social media, Chat GPT, iPhone apps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong follow-through and ability to handle questions and concerns constructively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
