Position Summary

A leading, well-established manufacturer in the tooling and plastic injection mold industry is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join its growing team. The Program Manager is responsible for leading customer programs from initial award through final delivery, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to customer specifications. This position serves as the primary point of contact between customers and internal departments, coordinating engineering, production, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of customer programs from kickoff through final approval and launch.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for project schedules, engineering changes, and deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project timelines and milestone schedules.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, machining, purchasing, production, and quality.
  • Monitor project budgets, change orders, and associated cost impacts.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Lead internal program review meetings and customer status updates.
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to timing, quality, and cost.
  • Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and scope management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the program management process.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • 3-7 years of program or project management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production scheduling.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
