Job Summary:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Program Manager to drive mission-planning modernization across Air Force, Joint, and Coalition environments. The role involves guiding complex program lifecycles, managing risks, and leading teams while ensuring alignment with mission priorities through effective communication and project management.
Responsibilities:
• Guide the program through its lifecycle by anticipating challenges and mitigating risks.
• Lead teams with clarity and focus.
• Drive mission-planning modernization across Air Force, Joint, and Coalition environments.
• Develop engineering and integration processes.
• Refine existing systems and lead projects from concept design through development, testing, and deployment.
• Identify and mitigate risks, conduct quantitative program analysis, and oversee budgets.
• Develop and track schedules, manage scope, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with operational and technical partners across Air Force, Joint, and Coalition communities to ensure alignment with mission priorities.
• Prepare and deliver senior-level briefings, dashboards, and decision materials.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Department of War efforts valued at over $200M
• Experience with Combat Air Forces or Mobility Air Forces operations
• Experience with US Air Force mission planning systems requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and operational fielding
• Knowledge of DoW project or program management practices
• Ability to engage with clients to collect, understand, and define their IT requirements, analyze and translate those requirements into project plans and milestones, and create realistic resource-loaded schedules to manage and report progress
• Top Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• PMI, PgMP, or PMP Certification
Preferred:
• 8+ years of experience managing a dispersed workforce and various functions in support of large-scale DoW efforts
• Experience supporting AFLCMC, PEO C3BM, or C3M programs
• Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, and Lean‑Agile portfolio practices
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree in STEM or Management
• ITIL 4 Foundation and Managing Professional Framework Certification
