Program Manager Residential IRA

Reports to: Program Director, DDABI

Location: Oneida and/or Onondaga County, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay Rate: $27.70 - $31.30 Hourly

*Up to $2,000 in bonuses available each calendar year!*

With a history stretching back more than 70 years, AccessCNY is continually growing and expanding our reach. Offering person-centered services that empower individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential as part of our community. Our focus is supporting individuals by ways of residential housing, mental health and clinical services, and immersing our participants in community engagement. Working closely with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Mental Health, we support 27 housing locations and 3 administrative buildings.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive employee to oversee assigned personnel, properties, implementation of Individual Service Plans and management of day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the provision of services for participants, including developing and implementing different systems to implement and monitor current Habilitation plans
  • Managing program expenses in keeping with budget guidelines
  • Supervision of all assigned staff working in the residence
  • Maintaining appropriate records and preparing necessary reports

Education & Experience

Associate degree in a human services field, plus one years’ experience working with people with disabilities, required, or, a high school diploma/GED plus two years’ experience working with people with disabilities, required. Supervisory experience, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Basic computer skills, including word processing and e-mail skills are required. Knowledge of OPWDD services preferred.

Conditions of Employment

Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in accordance with the Agency Vehicle and Driving policy and transportation necessary to meet program needs. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Must be available for occasional early morning, evening or weekend functions and share on-call responsibilities.
