What are program managers?

Program managers are professionals responsible for overseeing multiple related projects within an organization, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver expected outcomes. The Role

We are supporting a leading capital markets client through a critical market infrastructure transformation initiative focused on expanding the Canadian Fixed Income ecosystem and onboarding key market participants to strategic clearing and repo services. As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of this complex, multi-workstream program, ensuring alignment across business, operations, technology, and external stakeholders.

Working within a highly regulated capital markets environment, you will coordinate delivery activities across multiple teams and organizations, manage critical dependencies and risks, and help ensure program objectives are achieved on time and within scope.

This role requires a strong delivery leader who can navigate complexity, foster collaboration across stakeholder groups, and maintain momentum across interconnected initiatives while supporting program governance and executive reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale capital markets transformation program, ensuring alignment across business, operational, and technology workstreams
  • Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholder groups and organizations, helping maintain a unified delivery approach and shared program objectives
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints to support successful delivery outcomes
  • Facilitate collaboration across business, product, operations, and technology teams to ensure requirements, priorities, and delivery plans remain aligned
  • Support governance activities, status reporting, and stakeholder communications, providing transparency on program progress, risks, decisions, and milestones

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience delivering complex programs or large-scale transformation initiatives within Capital Markets, Financial Services, or other highly regulated environments
  • Proven experience managing multiple workstreams, stakeholder groups, dependencies, and delivery teams within large programs
  • Strong understanding of program governance, risk management, planning, budgeting, and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior business, technology, and operational leaders

Bonus Points For

  • Experience within Fixed Income, Repo, Clearing, Settlement, Custody, or broader Capital Markets infrastructure environments
  • Knowledge of market infrastructure organizations, financial market utilities, or regulatory-driven transformation initiatives
  • Experience managing programs involving multiple business units, vendors, or delivery organizations
  • Familiarity with infrastructure modernization, operational resilience, or market expansion initiatives
  • Consulting or client-facing experience delivering transformation programs for financial services organizations

Why Join Capco

  • Deliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions
  • Work in a collaborative, flat, and entrepreneurial consulting culture
  • Access continuous learning, training, and industry certifications
  • Be part of a team shaping the future of digital financial services
  • Help shape the future of digital transformation across FS & Energy

Benefits

  • Comprehensive Benefits Coverage - 100% company-paid health, life, and disability insurance effective from Day 1 of employment
  • Retirement Savings Program - Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with employer contribution matching options
  • Virtual Health Care - Company-paid program available to employees and their dependents/partners
  • Parental Leave Top-Up - Enhanced parental leave benefits available from Day 1 of employment
  • Wellness Support - Fitness reimbursement benefit to promote health and well-being
  • Business Coach from Day 1 - Personalized one-on-one coaching to support career growth, accelerate development, and help achieve your professional goals at Capco
