Enjoy a rewarding career with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) supporting operations in a very active and high operational tempo Site Manager position at Naval Air Station Fallon, the US Navy's premier tactical air warfighting training center.
What You Will Be Doing:
Our team is responsible for overseeing all on-site F-35 contractor support operations at NAS Fallon and this position will be the primary point of contact for military and industry leaders in support of base operations and aircraft maintenance support.

Basic Qualifications
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- At least 10+ years of aircraft maintenance, Operations, or Supply professional experience.
- Demonstrated strong team and operational leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively across multiple levels of the business and across a variety of functions.
- Demonstrated experience to coach teams, resulting in overall team growth and performance improvements.
Demonstrated experience managing aircraft, product / system engineering support.
- Working knowledge of Aircraft operations in and around aviation/aeronautical environment.
- Experience working with aviation systems & processes, and/or logistics support.
Desired skills
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college in related discipline.
- Experience working and interacting with senior management within unit, operations, and maintenance communities.
- Knowledge of F 35 pilot and maintainer systems & processes, and/or logistics support.
- Candidate should possess a broad military aircraft support background and advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be effective in a high tempo operational environment.
- Strong verbal and written skills as well as the ability to lead clear communications techniques is required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with supporting companies (Pratt & Whitney, NGC, and local base and ship authorities) critical for success.
- Prior military or civilian equivalent operational maintenance & logistics experience desirable; specifically organizational and intermediate maintenance experience.
- Should be considered an expert authority in the maintenance, operations, and support disciplines.
Interim Contractor Support (ICS) experience to include retrofit management desirable. Familiarity with the F 35 logistics, autonomic logistics information system (ALIS), technical publications approach and supportable low observable support concept beneficial.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $138,100 - $243,455. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $158,800 - $275,195. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
