Description
The Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) LLC, a rapidly growing management consulting firm, is seeking a Program Manager for an upcoming opportunity to oversee transition assistance services for Soldiers preparing to leave active service and move into civilian life. The scope of work includes helping Soldiers complete required counseling, classes, career planning, financial planning, education planning, and final readiness steps before separation. Oversight will be across many Army locations, including possible OCONUS and mobile mission support, and must be tracked carefully in the Army's system of record.
Key Responsibilities of the Program Manager include:
  • Serve as the primary interface with the COR and the Human Resources Command Transition Division staff.
  • Must have full authority to act on all matters pertaining to the execution of awarded actions and the contractor's position on determinations of scope.
  • Answerable to the Government on staffing concerns, resolution of contractor performance shortfalls, status of ad hoc reports, and all other tasks or objectives contained within the PWS.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all accompanying documents related to the requirement.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, which must have been obtained within the last fifteen (15) years, in the following areas:
    • Managing large scale global operations in organizations with 200 or more employees and supporting large robust dispersed customer bases.
    • Tailoring, implementing, and modifying proactive and responsive customer satisfaction practices serving a diverse customer base.
    • Assessing and implementing emerging technologies or business practices that increase efficiency, improve customer service, and decrease cost.
    • Utilizing data analytics to develop status reports, decision points, and inform future processes.
    • Strategically communicating and marketing program objectives, benefits, and results to customers and stakeholders.
    • Analyzing Government regulatory guidance to inform day-to-day operating practices and management decisions.
  • Master's Degree. Required upon hiring.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP). Required upon hiring.
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP). Required within six (6) months of hiring.
