Job description

Rite of Passage Team is Hiring an ORR TRAINER (English/Spanish) at Sycamore Canyon Academy in Oracle, Arizona.  Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!

What you’ll do: (Office of Refugee Resettlement) ORR Trainer will ensure that ROP’s - ORR staff are adequately trained and familiar with all ORR policies necessary for their assigned roles and that all direct care and leadership staff are kept informed and trained as policy changes occur regarding any aspect of ORR program execution. In addition to overseeing ORR policy training, the ORR Trainer will audit staff records, processes, and deliverables to identify training needs and ensure compliance with ORR policies and guidance. The ORR Trainer reports to the Assistant Program Director or Program Manager, with bifurcated supervision under the Regional Compliance Director, depending on the ORR program.

$59,000 yearly

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • One year of experience of the related experience
  • Must hold instructor certifications in the following areas: CPR/First Aid, PPC, Crisis Intervention Techniques, Suicide Prevention, Treatment Topics, Essential Subjects and JIREH certified (if required).
  • Must be familiar with ROP and ORR procedures, policies, and program implementation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background clearance checks, drug screen, physical and TB test.
