Location: Tuba City
Facility: Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $75.00 – $81.50 per hour

Shift Information:
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts (RDO may vary)
  • Shift start times may vary: 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 12:00 PM
  • Weekdays + Weekend + Holiday coverage required
  • Rotational shifts including day, evening, and nights
Job Summary:

MTK Healthcare Inc. is seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across main campus and satellite clinics. This role involves direct patient care across all age groups, ensuring safe and effective medication use while adhering to organizational policies.

This position also offers career advancement opportunities into Advanced Practice Pharmacist roles, including clinical services, program development, and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive medication management and pharmaceutical care
  • Deliver direct patient care (neonatal to geriatric populations)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Support outpatient and inpatient clinical pharmacy services
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and safety standards
  • Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and assistants (advanced roles)
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage operations of assigned clinic(s) (advanced roles)
Requirements:
  • PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (ACPE recognized)
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacist License (U.S. State/Territory/DC)
  • AHA BLS Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist
  • Minimum 1 year Clinical Pharmacist experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Fingerprint clearance required prior to start
  • Experience with Allscripts EMR (preferred)
  • Ability to work rotational shifts and diverse patient populations
