You will have responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the residence and services, corresponding to the following elements of the treatment/recovery process: stabilization, rehabilitation, and reintegration  

  • Responsible for maintaining sufficient on-site or on-call staff to meet the needs of resident population 

  • Responsible for appropriately documenting the percentage of time of shared staff 

  • Responsible for identifying a clinical supervisor 

  • Responsible for hiring and/or designating a Health Coordinator to ensure the provision of education, risk reduction, counsel, and referral services to all residents regarding HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and other communicable diseases 

  • Responsible for maintaining sufficient staff to ensure that space and equipment of the service is clean and in working order 

  • Responsible for conducts performance evaluations, recommends for promotions, evaluates for discipline and terminations. 

  • Responsible for ensuring and documenting a training plan for each staff person based upon individual needs.

REQUIRED EDUCATION 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health, or related field  

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS 

  • Qualified Health Professional (QHP) 

  • License issued by NYS in good standing 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 

  • 5 years of experience in the chemical dependence treatment field
