Prevention Manager

The Prevention Program Manager provides leadership and oversight for the program, ensuring high-quality services are delivered. This role supervises and coaches staff to provide supportive services, parenting education, advocacy, and resource connection to promote child well-being and prevent children from entering formal foster care whenever safely possible.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's Degreerequired(Master's Degreepreferred) in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services fieldand two (2+) years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies with management experience(2+ years preferred).
  • Experience working with marginalized communities with an understanding ofthe barriers thatimpactunderserved communities. Quicklyestablishrapport and build trust.
  • Collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes, using interpersonal skills in multi-disciplinary,diverseand dynamic professional teams.
  • Strong verbal communication skills anddemonstratedability to write clearly andeffectively with a proventrack recordin setting priorities and proposing new ways of creating efficiencies.
  • Adaptable and proactive self-starter who effectively multitasks whilemaintainingstrong attention to detail and organization to consistently meetobjectivesand deadlines.
  • Core understanding ofprogram development, implementation, and evaluation.
