Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Program Manager to lead a newly established enterprise governance process for evaluating high-impact business requests and strategic investments. This highly visible individual contributor role partners with senior leadership to gather information, develop executive-ready business cases, coordinate cross-functional approvals, and drive accountability throughout the decision-making process. The ideal candidate brings strong program management, business acumen, and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders and improve enterprise-wide governance processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and manage the enterprise request and approval process from intake through executive decision.
  • Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and evaluate strategic initiatives.
  • Develop clear, executive-ready business cases, decision memos, and presentations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reviews and ensure requests progress efficiently through governance.
  • Drive stakeholder accountability by tracking deliverables, timelines, and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and strategic impacts to support executive decision-making.
  • Identify risks, tradeoffs, dependencies, and resource requirements for proposed initiatives.
  • Build and enhance governance frameworks, workflows, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor key metrics, approval status, and process performance to improve efficiency.
  • Communicate executive decisions, including approvals and denials, to business stakeholders.
  • Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners without direct authority.
  • Continuously improve enterprise processes to increase consistency, transparency, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in program management, business operations, strategic operations, enterprise PMO, management consulting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive-level visibility.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate operational, financial, and strategic considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop executive-ready business cases, presentations, and decision materials.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience gathering information from business leaders and translating complex inputs into clear recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience building, improving, or managing governance processes and operational frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with limited direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive accountability across teams.
  • High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and executive presence.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams, enterprise governance committees, or strategic decision-making processes preferred.
