Overview
Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. CEC has experienced significant recent growth and has established itself as the go-to supplier for a diversified product line supporting a wide spectrum of markets from commercial products, military customers, to space research laboratories.
Responsible for the planning, coordination and successful completion of complex, multi-million dollar programs typically involving multiple projects and products. Successful completion includes meeting time schedules and financial objectives by managing critical interfaces involving the customer, contracts, engineering, and manufacturing groups.
Responsibilities
  • Establishes program schedules and priorities in accordance with Company Policy and monitors performance and profitability
  • Assists in the development of winning proposals as well as managing contracts emanating from same
  • Conducts program reviews and prepares written reports for Management and / or customer on current status and actions necessary for the successful completion of a program
  • Assures adherence to all terms and specifications of assigned program contracts and to pertinent company and government policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Advises Management on overall program matters as they affect CEC's manpower, facilities, and financial plans to assure that program requirements are met
  • Monitors the financial status and budgets (cost to complete estimates) and schedules in order to prevent, detect, and correct out-of-program conditions
  • Primary contributor on planning the scope of the proposed contract, i.e., time frames and resources
  • Assists in negotiating quotes and proposals for assigned programs and the timely preparation of follow-on actions
  • Represents CEC in technical and overall management matters with customer; assists in expeditious resolution of concerns from the customer; travels to customer facilities as required
  • Coordinates activities of and maintains liaison with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and support group managers regarding their responsibilities and involvement on program

  • It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications
  • B.S. in Engineering / Business or related degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, MIS or Business equivalent
  • 5 years of technical experience in support of C4ISR systems (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), to include: Design, Development, Production, Installation, Test & Evaluation and Project management (experience may be concurrent)
  • 5 years of experience in Program Management to include: Technology Assessments, Systems Design, Systems Analysis, Programmatic Support, Leading Project Personnel, Scheduling Work, Prioritizing Tasking and cost Estimating, management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have solid experience managing programs / projects associated with government contracts thru multiple phases, Kickoff, Design Reviews, Milestone Deliveries, Contract closeout
  • Demonstrates ability to deal effectively with all levels of management and with customers, including government representatives
  • Proven ability to organize, coordinate, and successfully complete a manufacturing, development, or engineering program
  • Leadership qualities that naturally encourage others to work on their programs
  • Must have working knowledge of project management techniques
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively direct team members
  • Ability to obtain DoD issued Secret Clearance
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Project scheduling software

  • Active DoD issued clearance
  • Retired military or prior military / DoD Program experience
  • Earned Value certification or prior Estimate at Complete (EAC) experience
  • PMP certification

Pay may range from 107,000 to 135,000 annually
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits.
