Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Data Analytics (DA) Audit Manager that will provide support on audit projects as assigned, by leveraging computer programing skills and automation technologies (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, UIPATH, Power BI, Azur, Python/R Programming, Data Science techniques). The candidate will develop new testing methodologies that expand audit testing coverage and/or produce continuous auditing scripts. The DA Audit Manager will support risk identification, data acquisition, controls testing, dashboard development and other ad hoc assignments. The candidate will provide customized automated solutions that support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing, operational audits and assigned administrative tasks. Day-to-day activities will include data extraction from multiple sources, business data transformation, dashboards development, and meetings with audit and non-audit stakeholders.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $98,400 - $199,000 per year. Final salary will be determined based on factors such as location, experience, skills and qualifications.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Audits & Sarbanes-Oxley Support:

    Leverage existing enterprise infrastructure & tools for data storage and computer programming to extract, cleanse, transform, and report on business transactions, in support of audit objectives.
  • Develop & document quantitative results to support the execution of audit test plans.
  • Develop trend analysis and other anomalies detection deliverables to support audit planning.
  • Assist in the digitalization of SOX data acquisition and SOX controls testing.
  • Create Power BI dashboards as required by audit team members or management.

Automation:

  • With limited supervision, develop automated audit solutions using a variety of technologies (e.g., SQL, UIPATH, Alteryx, Python, Power BI)
  • Ensure timely delivery of automation tasks and execution of continuous auditing scripts.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and lead requirements gathering sessions and data source discussions with audit team members and external technology stakeholders.
  • Get involved in various enterprise users group sessions on automation or data analytics.
  • Coordinate and help assist in the development of DA training material.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a field requiring computer programming, or 5 years minimum experience in data extraction and transformation, with the ability to write in SQL & Python queries.
  • Proficient in the use of data wrangling and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, UIPATH and Power BI.
  • Experience working on multiple projects/assignments simultaneously under minimal supervision and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Auditing and bank sector experience is a plus.
