Position Summary...What you'll do...
The Walmart US eCommerce Marketplace team empowers sellers worldwide to reach millions of buyers. As a Manager of Data Analytics, you will build and scale business analytics capabilities that measure performance,identifyoperational and financial levers, and enable faster, higher-quality decisions. You will partner with Product,Business, Finance, and Technology to define business KPIs, standardize metrics, improve data quality, and deliver insights that drive seller growth, customer experience, and profitability. This role requires strong analytical rigor, end-to-end ownership (from problem framing to measurement to impact tracking), and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for leadership.

You'llmake an impact by:
  • Driving Product Strategy: Partner with product managers to define key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze user behavior, andidentifyopportunities for product optimization and innovation. Develop data-driven roadmaps to improve product adoption and enhancethe customerexperience.
  • Driving Business Performance: Analyze marketplace performance across the seller lifecycle (onboarding, fulfillment, availability, customer experience, returns) toidentifytrends, root causes, and opportunities. Quantify impact, size opportunities, and recommend actions that improve key business outcomes (e.g., GMV, margin, conversion, on-time delivery, defect rates).
  • Building Comprehensive Analytics Frameworks: Develop andmaintainrobust analytics dashboards, AIAgentsand reports to track key product andbusinessmetrics.
  • Conducting Deep-Dive Analyses: Proactively analyze customer and seller data toidentifytrends, patterns, and opportunities for growth. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product andbusinessstrategies.
  • Designing and Implementing Experiments: Develop and execute A/B tests and other experiments to measure the impact of product initiatives. Utilize statistical techniques to analyze results and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with product managers,businessteams, engineers, and UX designers to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Translating Data into Actionable Insights: Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Developing Predictive Models:Utilizemachine learning and statistical modeling techniques to forecast trends, predict customer behavior, andidentifypotential risks and opportunities.
  • Ensuring Data Integrity and Governance:Maintaindata quality and consistency by adhering to data governance standards and best practices. Design data models and build pipelines/structure which follow data governance standards andfacilitateseamless,timelyand fastreportingreducing time to insights.
  • Support Weekly,Monthlyand Quarterly Business review with a focus on actionable insights that influence short, mid-term and long-term strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related in an eCommerce,Marketplaceor Supply Chain environment.
  • Strong SQL (writing complex queries),Product Analytics Tools (MixPanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude etc.)Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Looker or other data analytics and visualization tools


Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters: Business Administration; Economics; Statistics, Business Analyticsareaand 7+ years' experience developing analytics and insights in an eCommerce/Marketplace.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Bellevue, Washington US-11663: The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00 - $186,000.00
Sunnyvale, California US-11807: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
