Raytheon is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Material Program Manager to lead a team of Material Program Managers. This role requires someone that can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and be able to successfully interface with functional and program senior leadership. In this highly visible role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. You'll create and manage the execution of Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through full-rate production.
This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of leading teams, material strategy, customer negotiation support, material requirements planning (MRP) process, subcontract management and project management (to include program start up as well as execution).
This is an onsite role and may work in our McKinney, TX office location or Tucson, AZ. Relocation funds are not approved for this role.
What You Will Do
  • Be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all program material strategies, supply chain objectives, and enterprise objectives.
  • Lead a team of Material Program Managers at RVS.
  • Develop and support Supply Chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates that support price to win (PTW) targets.
  • Develop and execute material program plans (MPP).
  • Establish Material Sales Forecasts for assigned programs.
  • Provide support for all Gates.
  • Develop and execute risk/opportunity plans to meet program objectives.
  • Balance strategic thinking with tactical application of strategies to programs.
  • Partner cross functionally with Engineering, Quality and Operations to create common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Monitor performance metrics and proactively acts to address program and functional issues.
  • Travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Be accountable for tracking and managing budgets.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.
  • Proposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experience.
  • Experience working with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.).
  • Experience managing program cost and schedule.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
